Beginnings Band Camp

The on-stage performers will host informational sessions for your students in the afternoon and play your venue that evening, even including your students on stage! Two of our band members are former Band Leaders and our show features long-time brass and woodwinds players. We also have a band member that has been a practicing entertainment lawyer for over three decades. 

Your students will choose from breakout sessions hosted by professional musicians featuring such topics as: 

• Rock bands with horns
• Putting on a show: coordination, travel, sound checks, set lists and stage presence
• Microphone technique for singers and instrumentalists 
• Sound systems overview and Signal Flow 101 
• Guitar effects and signal path
• Sound Check 101 
• Front of house and monitor mixing
• Marketing your Music
• Contracts and royalties
• How to replicate studio keyboard sounds for a live performance
• Music and Audio apps as Practice Tools 

These are just examples; we are willing to tailor our educational offerings to your needs. 

This is a unique opportunity for your students to receive personal attention and instruction from a touring rock band and make a memory they will never forget.
